How to choose a hand dryer? How to dryer your hands after washing? Here is everything you should know!

WHO(World Health Organization) suggest that everyone should frequently clean your hands with alcohol-based sanitiser or wash them with water and soap because good hand hygiene can prevent the spread of the virus. In the process of washing hands, “dry hand” is a step that people often ignore, which is important for effective hand hygiene.

How to dryer your hands?

1.Wipe with a towel

Towel may transfer the germ from hands to the towel; If there are multi-users, will result in cross-infection easily; Even if it is special for one person (especially it is placed in and out of the hospital or through the epidemic area), it is also possible to transfer the germs explosive growing on the wet towel for a long time from last use to the hands. Here we suggest sterilize your hands and keep your hands dry after wiping with a towel.

2. Wipe with disposable paper towel, which is a healthy and safe method for hand drying, but it ignores five critical issues:

  • when you are in hospitals, clinics,and epidemic area, the used paper towel will be harmlessly treated as the medical waste ;
  • when you are in public places such as railway stations, airports, railway stations, theaters, restaurants, hotels…), how to deal with the used towels with a large amount of pathogene to ensure that the cleaning, sanitation workers not infected is a big issue.
  • how to ensure the toilet paper dry in warm and moist environment which is a breeding ground for germs;
  • how to prevent splashing of pathogens into people’s nose and mouth when flush the toilet .
  • how to effectively eliminate the smell of the bathroom.

3. Plasma air purification disinfection hand dryer

  • Multiple filtrations: primary effect filter, medium effect filter, high-efficiency filter (HEPA), step by step filtration
  • Electrostatic dust-collecting technology: dielectric coated electrodes slice form a strong electric field in the channel, which exerts a strong attraction on the charged-corpuscle moving in the air. And it can adsorb almost 100% of airborne moving particles while generating only minimal airflow resistance
  • Electrostatic high-pressure sterilization: the bacteria, microorganisms, aerosols attached to the particles will be collected and killed in a strong electric field
  • Anion sterilization technology: release trillions of anions to the internal machine and external environment, which will settle bacteria with biological electricity, inhibit virus reproduction and transmission, and finally kill it.

4. UV hand dryer

  • 1) CCFL UV quartz lamp tube internally installed;
  • UV photocatalyst sterilization technology: will result in cell penetration, coenzyme A destruction, and degradation of vancomycin, so as to achieve the effect of sterilization and inactivation;
  • CCFL UV lamp wavelength: 253.7nm, intensity ≥ 70UW /cm2 (GB28235-2011).
    Tip: Usually, UV lamp wavelength is about 400nm (commonly known as a black light lamp), can not be used for disinfection; Longer wavelengths of violet and blue light will not have a sterilization effect.
    UV sterilization rate graph

*UVC band is with sterilizing effect,UVC253.7 is with best sterilizing effect

*UVA315-400 commonly known as the black light lamp is used as trapping insects, no sterilizing effect

*Direct exposure to UV light can cause blindness and skin cancer
